Adobe Reveals New Photoshop Branding

Adobe revealed the new Photoshop logo and tagline at the tech expo at Photoshop World last week in Las Vegas. This new logo is to be representative of the entire Photoshop family of products: Photoshop CS3, Photoshop CS3 Extended, Lightroom, and Elements. Adobe also revealed a sneak peek of Photoshop Express; an online version of Photoshop that offers basic correction tools right through the web. It certainly has its limitations when compared to the full version, but will certainly bring imaging technology to a larger number of people.

Open in Camera Raw from Bridge

You can open RAW images in Camera Raw right from Bridge in Photoshop CS3. This frees up Photoshop to continue working on your files while they’re being processed in Camera Raw. Just select one or more images in Bridge, Control-click (PC: Right-click) on them, and choose Open in Camera Raw. This will open the image(s) in Bridge’s Camera Raw rather than Photoshop. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Command-R (PC: Ctrl-R).
