You know what that means…It’s guest blogger day over at Scott Kelby’s blog. Today’s guest blogger is my friend and fellow NAPP guru: Matt Kloskowski. Matt’s post today is an interesting take on what he would like to see if he could re-engineer the Photoshop interface. He even provides really cool sample images that he doctored up himself. I gotta admit after looking through them, there are quite a few I seriously think would be welcome additions to the app. Check it out here and if you can’t get enough of Matt you can check his very own blog over at LightroomKillerTips.com. Do enjoy and have a good one!!!

Celebrate the holiday season by learning how to use Photoshop to create falling snow over your favorite holiday image.
Corey goes back a few decades in style and explains how to create this groovy text design.
If you have imported a 3D object that has a texture applied to it, that texture will show up as a sublayer with your 3D layer. To modify or replace the existing texture, simply double-click directly on the texture name in the Layers panel. A dialog will open with the 2D texture. Make whatever changes you need, then close and save the document. Just like a Smart Object, it will update automatically in the main document.
