Updated Down & Dirty Tour Coming To Nashville
That’s right! The Photoshop Down & Dirty Tricks tour is getting ready to kick back into gear next week. I have gone through an given this tour a massive update for CS5. I am very excited about this as I managed to gather together some of the coolest effects and techniques right out of pop culture. You ever been watching TV or looking at a magazine and wondered how they did all those cool effects? Well this seminar is the place to find out and there is something for everyone. Whether you’re a graphic designer, artist, photographer, or just curious of what you can do in Photoshop then come and join us. It’s a lot of fun and I hope to see you there. Create A Composite Layer
If you have a multilayer composition and you
want to apply an effect to all the layers at once, don’t flatten the layers–use a composite layer instead. Hide the layers you want excluded, and press Shift-Command-Option-E (PC: Shift-Ctrl-Alt-E). A new layer will be created at the top containing a merged copy of all the visible layers.
Another option is to create a new layer at the top of the stack and make it active. Command-click (PC: Ctrl-click) each layer you want to include to make those layers active, as well. Press Option-Command-E (PC: Alt-Ctrl-E).
