Lately I have been inundated with questions on where people can get more training in Photoshop. I can think of only one other place: KelbyTraining.com. This site is your one-stop shop for the best training by the best people. Check this out, there is an awesome online training library featuring some of the biggest names in Photoshop. Names like Scott Kelby, Katrin Eisman, Bert Monroy, and….Corey Barker. (Ok, so it’s shameless plug.) Anyway this site doesn’t just offer online training. There is also a DVD store with a wide selection of unmatched training material. In fact, Scott Kelby’s newest DVD: Photoshop CS3 for Digital Photographers just became available this past week. The site also features a bookstore where you can find the latest books on Photoshop such as Matt Kloskowski’s new Layers Book. In fact, if you order from this site you can get a signed copy. If you are in to live training then check out the seminars section to see if there’s gonna be a Photoshop seminar in your town. Whew!! I don’t think there is much more I can say, just check it out and enjoy.

Corey shares another way to get a cool 3D light beam effect.
Corey finishes up the Olympic-inspired design that he began last week in Part 1.
The Olympic-inspired tutorial will be coming in two parts. Stop by next week for the conclusion to this video.
This week’s tutorial deals with creating masks for complicated images by using channels.
You can open RAW images in Camera Raw right from Bridge in Photoshop CS3. This frees up Photoshop to continue working on your files while they’re being processed in Camera Raw. Just select one or more images in Bridge, Control-click (PC: Right-click) on them, and choose Open in Camera Raw. This will open the image(s) in Bridge’s Camera Raw rather than Photoshop. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Command-R (PC: Ctrl-R).

Corey I will have to agree with you on Kelby Training. This is my second month subscription. I am getting my money worth. That I can say with complete honesty but what else would one expect when Scott Kelby has made sure that he had nothing but the best to lead these classes. We are talking about the elite here people. Joe McNally, Scott Kelby himself, Terry White, Lesa Snider King who is also in the middle of writing the next Photoshop CS3 Missing Manual as we speak. This is not a free ad for Kelby training. It is my excitement coming though from Dave Cross helping to teach me the basic of Photoshop, or Matt K teaching me how to make templates in Photoshop to save me time in the future. Or Corey taking me to a whole new level in the effects you can create in Photoshop. There is just so much to learn at Kelby Training and all I can say as an actually subscriber is go check them out. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

I’m thinking of joining this training. Can you tell me if it’s worth it for a begginer in Graphic Designer or i should see another site? Since it has a monthly fee, i hope u understand what i mean. I’m gonna take a Class of Graphic Design but it’s only in October and i would like to start right now learning and trying to do stuff in CS3
