Speaking at Adobe MAX today!!

So I had a blast at Photoshop World last week in Vegas. I hope everyone enjoyed my sessions as much as I did teaching them. You can see some photos of Photoshop World over at Scott Kelby’s blog. It was such a great crowd, but I am hardly done. I am now in Los Angeles to teach a couple of hand-on classes at the Adobe MAX conference. We are at the famous L.A. convention center which has been seen in a number movies. Of course, being the big movie fan that I am, it just makes things that much cooler. In fact, the hotel I am staying in is the same one they shot the famous horse chase scene in True Lies with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Isn’t that cool!!!! Anyway, if you are here at MAX and see me walking around come up and say Hi! Well that’s it for now. Have a great Monday!!!

Corey: If you have time, wander over to Beverly Hills and check out Sprinkles. It’s a small store that only makes cupcakes. Correction: They make the best cupcakes in the world. And, if you befriend them on Facebook, you’ll be able to get updates on the daily “secret word,” that, if whispered at the store, entitles you to a free cupcake. I just moved to L.A. from San Diego and already I’m hooked. Worth a visit. http://www.sprinkles.com

Vanishing Point and 3D

While working in the Vanishing Point filter, you can create a multi-plane grid and return the part of the image contained in the grid back to Photoshop as a 3D layer (choose Return 3D Layer to Photoshop from the flyout menu). Once it is a 3D layer, you can move the object around in three dimensions using Photoshop’s 3D tools.
