    Hi Corey,

I’m a huge fan of your tutorials, even here in the Netherlands! I’m wandering how do you adjust your workspace with a nice picture while I only can choose between colors…

Amazing. I stumbled across this and have always wondered how logos like this were created. The answer: A lot of work. Look forward to watching more tutorials and to trying these out at home. Thanks!

Hello- Just found this tutorial and love it, except something is wrong with part 2. It stops half way through. I have searched for just this kind of tutorial and I can’t believe it has a bug. Based on everyone elses comments it was working, any idea what happened?

u r great , one thing why u went all that hard work and go over and over the selection panel , i think if u give the basic shield storke and after that right click on FX for the layer and will give u that stroke as layer by it self and it will do the same work , sorry for saying that i just want to show maybe theres easyer way if u agree , after all u r great and thank you so much for the help

Create A Composite Layer

If you have a multilayer composition and you
want to apply an effect to all the layers at once, don’t flatten the layers–use a composite layer instead. Hide the layers you want excluded, and press Shift-Command-Option-E (PC: Shift-Ctrl-Alt-E). A new layer will be created at the top containing a merged copy of all the visible layers.

Another option is to create a new layer at the top of the stack and make it active. Command-click (PC: Ctrl-click) each layer you want to include to make those layers active, as well. Press Option-Command-E (PC: Alt-Ctrl-E).
