Multiple (thousands) of crops ... help

I have scanned hundreds of photo album pages as part of a family project. I now have to cut out each photo (5 per page) and save as individual files. There are about 3,000 photos so I'm looking for the fastest possible process. Can I save and name quickly with a tool ... and without opening and closing documents? I'm on Mac OSX with PS CS 8. Thanks.
