Hello, I'm a newbie. I have been having good success enhancing my photos with CS2 and now I want to print some to put in a multi-photo frame.

My photo paper is Kodak 8.5 x 11.

Several photos will end up being 2.5" x 3.5" and so I want to fit them onto a single sheet to print, and then cut them out.

I can't seem to figure out how to do this and am becoming intimidated and frustrated already by the program's many options etc. that seem to have been written for graduates of Photoshop U.

I'd sure appreciate help if anyone can advise me on this. I'm sure it is relatively simple and that I'm just passing it in the night.

Thanks,
jjlad

In CS2 , go file>automate>picture package and click.

A dialogue will open in which you can determine the size of your final output and the number and layout of your several images.
There are a good variety of "template" layouts, but if none suit you, you can create layouts "to order" Just follow your nose through the options, and all will be clear. It is a simple tool to use.

If you don't want to use that, then go file>new, create a blank document to suit your purposes, and them simply drag and drop your images, using the move tool to drag and then to push them around until they look ok.

Thanks for that advice.
Wow ...and here I thought I had such a magnificent grasp of the obvious!
Worked just fine. I set up templates for printing all the oddball sizes I need for those multiple image frames. Now I just have to crop the images accordingly, and save them after cropping in order to be able to 'select from file'.
Thanks again!
