Shot some nite pics in 800 ISO (digital) but they turned out grainy & overexposed. Any good known fixes other than blur filter?

hello,

Try this technique: convert your image to LAB mode doing like this IMAGE>MODE >LAB Color than open the CHANNELS palette and you should see "LIGHTNESS" channel and "A" channel and "B" channel. This steps are very important now: click on "A" channel and you should see some grayscale image with noise or specks and on that channel apply Gaussian blur filter that much you can't see that grainy and noisy channel. Do the same for "B" channel and after that go to IMAGE>MODE>RGB Color. You are done!!! :-)

Hope it works if not i will post another technique next time
