I can no longer see the Color Picker when I go to select a color. I know that it is still open somewhere because when I try to click on any other commands, I get a beep to indicate that I am not clicking in the active window. I also know it is open because I can hit Enter to click the OK button in the Color Picker and close it so that I can use other functions.

It if it off screen somewhere, I have no way to get it back because I am already at my maximum screen resolution. Is there any other way to re-position it or make it re-appear?

It's really frustrating, so I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Cheers,
Mike

I am having this exact same issue, but it is not the color palette picker, but the one that comes up when you edit a color. I have two monitors at work, but not at home, so i think photoshop thinks that the other monitor still exists even if it does. I have done a redetected on my monitor, rearranged my palettes, restarted photoshop and the computer, no dice. off to dump the prefs. Any other advice would be helpful.

Heh, I've had that problem everytime I unhook my Cinema display from my laptop! The thing that has worked for me is to significantly lower the resolution of my monitor through System Prefs (I'm on a Mac). By resetting the resolution to something ghastly like 800 x 600, the palettes snap back into place. Once I get 'hold of the little rascals, then I set the resolution back to normal.
