Help!! Clip art and Photoshop

I am soo confused!! I hope someone out there can help

I am really new to using Photoshop, I am currently using Photoshop 6.0. I am trying to put hats on some animals in a photo, I was able to do it in MS Word, unfortunatly it won't let me save the picture as a JPEG or BITMAP document. Is it possible to add cip art to a Photo in Photoshop??? and if so how would I go about doing it???

Please help, it is for my Boss' holiday cards.......

Photoshop can open most any graphic file types, so yes, you can play with clip art in Photoshop. Just drag the clip art graphic file onto the Photoshop application to open it, or navigate to it from the File > Open menu.
