A better Bridge

If you're using Photoshop CS2, make sure you download the latest update to the Adobe Bridge. It fixes a couple of issues, but most importantly it helps with stability and speed.

The current verison is now 1.0.2.109

You can find it on Adobe.com in the downloads section.

I found the Bridge kinda slow compared to the browser. I kinda didn't like it being a separate app. It was faster to have the browser within Photoshop and not wait to launch another app.

When someone asks me for tips on using Bridge, one of my first comments is "never quit". One of the worst parts of Bridge is launching it the first time, so I keep it open all the time, even if I quit out of Photoshop. Then at least I have eliminated the lengthy wait for Bridge to open.
