Im trying to cut a friend from a picture and put her into another pic... how can i get her out of the pic shes in now and then be able to move her around the second image and place her where i want her?

I tried using the polygonal lasso and i cut aorund her in the original pic but i cant move her around.. so io tried cutting her out and pasting her into the second image but there were 2 problems... it pasted to the center of the image and could not be moved, also she needs to be resized for the second pic... any help owuld be great!!

i think that once you lassoed it, you could drag the layer from your original picture, to the screen with where you want your friends pic to be at. not 100% sure though.

dragging layer as in in the layer window, click and drag layer onto picture window
