Hotkey question

hey im semi new to photoshop but my hotkeys like are funkey They wont hotkey what i have in keyboard hotkey settings like they when i hit ctrl it just says to move something i cant ctrl z anything like undo or nothing someone plz help cuz im a hotkey usin kinda guy

The most common solution for this problem is to make sure you have the latest keyboard driver from the manufacturer of your keyboard.
