View Full Version : Invalid photo in "print multiple photos"
I have enhansed several photos in Editor, and want to print a contact sheet by choosing "print multiple photos". Before this screen opens, a Printing Error box opens up saying it is skipping invalid photos. I cannot figure out what makes certain photos invalid, while others open just fine. I use the same process to enhance and save all my photos.
Any ideas? Will this affect the print quality or process?
Not sure what you mean by saying "Editor". Are the invalid photos of a different file type or image mode?
If it were me, I'd shove all the photos into one folder, then using either Elements or Photoshop to print a Contact Sheet or Picture Package. In Elements this command lives in the Image menu, in Photoshop it lives in the File > Automate menu.
The format is the same: Tiff, I'm not nore what you mean by image mode.
By "editor" I simply mean opening the photos in standard edit rather than the organiser. I was using the standard edit to place the photos I want to print, but I figured out how to make a collection which works as well.
What is happening is I go to Print, and the box pops up saying "skipping invalid photos", and it won't let me print certain photos. I can't see anything that's different, except when I look in properties, the size for the invalid photo is different. The "valid"photo size is 603.2KB 450X447, and the invalid photo only read 603.2KB. Does that have an significance? By the way, these are 2 different versions of the same original image.
Thanks.
By image mode I really meant color mode, such as RGB, Grayscale, CMYK, etc.
Which program are you using? Photoshop or Elements? Sorry if I'm confused on that :)
Same color mode:RGB. I'm using Photoshop Elements 3.0
