photoshop 7.0 help

i have a problem wit photoshop 7.0, when i open an image and try to use any of the cursers they disapper behind the image and i cant work on the image. anybody kno how to fix this prob?

To work efficiently the ideal thing is that you can see the size of your brush. If you can see it go to Edit>Preferences and select Display & Cursors and select Brush Size. If it is not your case, just press Caps Lock to make your cursor appear again.
