Art paper recommendations ?

I have tried a number of art papers, from sample packs or small quanity orders, none of which I have been totally happy with, likely because I think the ICC profiles downloaded from the manufacturer's web sites are less than satisfactory. I plan to select one paper, buy a quanity of it, then spring for the price of a custom profile. I would appreciate recommendations of which art paper I might settle on. I would like a somewhat heavy paper, slightly less than pure white, with very noticable texture, that might be satisfactory for displaying high quality prints.
