Hey everyone,
My name is samantha im currently a model and i would like to work alot with photoshop. I have a few skills from taking classes at my college but i was hoping to see if anyone can help me out by telling me how to do this type of technique.
Here is a picture i would like to do.

actually quite simple. manage the right color for the overall image by using image/adjust/color balance RGB options but before that select the area you want to keep in the original way than inverse it by /select/inverse and you can change the area which is excluding the one that u wanna keep original.
you can make a clear selection by filters/extract option if you will select hair or stg.

its not simple to explain.different photos need different retouches to obtain the same effect.if you have a normal photo with a normal camera,may be with some indoor shots,you could convert it to grayscale,then convert to duotone or tritone.then choose black first,then an orange,and may be a yellowish for the third.then reconvert to rgb and make filter adjustment layer.a warm filter,increase the percentage and play with the opacity.then choose the history brush and paint over your beautiful eyes and lips.
