Using ImageReady to insert a Email address

Okay first time here. Really need some help. I am wanting to insert a Email address into the site that i built through Photoshop CS (and CS2) and ImageReady CS (and again CS2). I have tried once to insert a link that is a email address but it just goes to a new webpage. Is there anyway that i can have the link do a address in say Outlook?

I am not totally understaning you. Is the place you want the email on a slice?
For it to go to a mail client you need to add the code mailto:xyx@domain.com.

Just add mailto: to the url specified in ImageReady

For example you select the text in ImageReady.
Make sure the Slice palette is open

In the slice palette there is a url box
use this format

mailto:email address

that should do it. John
