Cut & Paste

Im pretty new with Photoshop :(
My question....how do you cut a object like a dog, and
then paste it onto another picture???
I trying to cut a person out of one picture and
pasting them onto another picture.........:rolleyes:
Im so lost on how to do it....i need help please:)

u will have to outline that object first.

make sure to have both of the images open in the window. use the polyganol lasso tool. it is bunched up with the lasso tool. it looks like a cowboy rope. then trace out the dog/person and hit CTRL+X to cut and CTRL+V to paste it onto the other picture.

alternatively, you may also use the magnetic lasso tool, but be very careful.
