Anyone out there who knows how to turn a portrait into a TINTIN look alike picture? I'd like to make a picture of my kids faces that way:-)

like the tin man in the yellow brick road movie with the lion, scarecrow, lady, and tin guy? (sorry dont remember the name)

or something like "the simpsons?"

here is a link to some examples I've seen. The original cartoon TINTIN, where this style originates from, is from Belgium and I guess only popular here in Europe...I'd love to get some ideas on how to create this 'effect' from a photo. I want the cartoon to resemble the person on the photo.

that's fairly simple.. just tedious

just duplicate the layer. then zoom in and use the pencil with a size of 1 and outline the character's face. then extract the appropriate color skin and eye with the eye dropper tool for the color and fill it in.

zoom in and do them one at a time.. like eye, nose, mouth, then ear, wrinkles, etc.. always do the hair last
