Hi Everyone
This maybe a headslap of a question, but I want to create a painting (with real ye olde paint and brushes) from a digital image. I am using a grid and replicating each grid on a canvas.

What I would like to know is: Is there a way of showing the occurrence of each color within an image. For instance, if I make up a blue (with paint) that matches a RGB value, can Photoshop show where else that color is found in the image.
I hope you can help.

Hi Madclean,

If you use the Magic Wand tool, in the top Menu bar it has a check box which says 'CONTIGUOUS'.
Make sure you un-check this and when you click on a color it will select all parts of the document with that color.

Hope this is clear:D

Ah, of course. Thank you Old Geezer. I will play around with the wand. Thanks for the quick response.
