Hey everyone. I recently upgraded to CS2 from 7.0, and I am having quite a bit of difficulty getting used to the new features and layouts. I use the link option constantly in the work that I do, but since I upgraded, I simply cannot figure out how to use it. I referred to the help menu, but all it says is to select your layer, and then click on the link icon in the bottom of the layers palette. That does not work for me. When I hover over it to click, my pointer switches to a error icon, ( circle with a line through it ) and I can't click on it...or the next icon over, for that matter. (the lower case f with the circle around it) Why would this be happening?
Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm trying to link layers together. In Photoshop 7 you could sort of check a box next to the layer name and link it with other layers. You can't do that with this one.
