i dont tend to use scanlines on my sigs very often, it dosent give the effect i like! but just in canse any of you want to have a lil dabble with them i thought id put on a tut 4 them :D !!!
here is a sig one of my m8's made using scan lines, id have made one myself but its very late and im tired lol!
heres the sig:

anyway, heres the tut...
1st create a blank document 3x3px, then get the pencil tool and draw a grid like this:

now go to edit>define pattern and save it!
Open a sig that youve already made create a new layer (Ctrl+Shift+N) now select the paint bucket tool! now where it says forground (at the top of the screen) change it to 'pattern' and then click the dropdown arrow and select the pattern you just made!

now click on your sig to fill it with the pattern! then set the layer to overlay and there you have it...scan lines
you might what to make sure any text is above the scan lines layer or its a bit difficult to read!

PS once youve tryed this you might want to experiment with differant patterns to get differnat scan lines, in differant directions!!!
