I need to "inverse" my selection.
With the magic wand i have the background selected, I need to inverse it, so the other color is selected (the only colors are black and white) there are hundreds of small random black shapes i need to select, but right now all the white background is selected.
Obviously I dont want to shift select all the black dots seperately, so
is there a command to inverse?
Im going through a tutorial, and it causally said "inverse to select the black shapes" haha They do not realize im A tad slow..haha

As soon as I posted that, I realized a few different ways on how to inverse, dorry about that BUT, this isnt a waste
Because ive looked and looked, but cannot figured out how to "fill" the selection
I have all the black spots selected, and now need to fill with gray.
But, once again, same problem. How do I fill all at once, instead of going through and filling one by one??

If you have alot of tiny shapes selected and you need to fill them all with the same flat color, then you could just use the paintbrush, and change the size to as large as you like, choose your color, and just paint over your selection. It will only fill in the areas that you have selected, and it just takes a couple of seconds. Using the paint bucket will also fill every single selection you have at once, with whatever color you have chosen, but I am not sure if all versions of photoshop allow you to do that.

Sorry about the late reply on this, but maybe it'll help :)

To invert any selection, just press Command + Shift + I (PC: Ctrl + Shift + I).

To fill any selection in one fail swoop, press Option + Delete (PC: Alt + Delete). That'll fill any selected area with your topmost color chip in the Toolbar.
