Easy One

How to split pictures. Im sure it's super easy, But ive never known how.
Like, an example is a picture with two people, and I want to cut it in half, and split the two, to put on opposite ends of the page.
Any suggestions?

If you're talking strictly about chopping the photo in half and separating, press M to select the Rectangular Marquee tool and draw a selection around one half of the photo. Press Command + J (PC: Ctrl + J) to jump the selection up onto its own layer. At that point you can press V to select the Move tool and move either layer to the desired position.

Well, I'll be damned. This opened up some more possibilities for me
I was doing things the long way before, with cutting, deleting, duplicated, pasting. Or even overly using the eraser tool (it's just so fun to use!!)
