I have problem that I would be eversograteful if someone could solve it. Why is it when I print a file out from Photoshop and then print the same file from Illustrator the two print outs have a very different color appearance. The Illustrator printout is usually more of what I am expecting from the print and usually is a pretty close match to what I am seeing on my monitor. The photoshop printout is usually more subdued, everything kind of looks like a little bit of black got mixed in with the colors and it all looks kind of like it has been sitting somewhere for a long time and has a layer of grey dust over it. I am using the same color profile in both programs. My printer is a Canon i9100. Please advise before I drive myself crazy trying to fix it.

Is color managemnent turned on both PS and AI?
Are you using cmyk or rgb in Photoshop?
