hello,

A good website requires a good website design. A new design might be the correct answer and the right strategy for success. Some aspects to take care of in the website designing are the front and the back areas. The front areas should involve features such as:
* Attractive design and pictures with use of charts and images
* Limited use of text and increased use of animation
* Easy navigation and linking of the following and related web pages and links
* Shopping cart and order placing facilities along with product description
* Newsletters on recent developments in the sector
* Facility to allow customers to contact you
The last and the most important thing is reviewing and revising. Your web site design should be improved and updated from time to time depending upon the up coming changes. Try and make use of the new technology and expertise. This would help you to beat your competition and establish your name.

Thanks

I'll go so far as to disagree right away with one point in special here ;)

" * Limited use of text and increased use of animation". This might definitely not be the best option to do. It all depends on what you want to do. I'd call for something interactive or something that makes the user look at a certain area (that you want them to) first then follow down with the carefully selected text information. Search engines have to have something to index.

Really the rest would work BUT some depends on what type of a site you have....

Plan Plan Plan
An instructor at a recent DW workshop I was at said that "design aside" the best thing you can do for your web space is to plan how it will (and what it needs to) function.

Some things to consider when planning:
How are the pages in your site related?
Do you have any orphaned pages?
Do they follow the 3 click rule? (users should be able to get to any information on your site in just 3 clicks)

That is why i have switched to develop most of my time in Flash. Action Script rocks and flash does looks the same in every single browser. Plus experience is much better.

True, sir, true, and ever since AS 3.0 came out and the language actually became something worthwhile...:D...it's become, in my opinion, the most formidable web framework at this time.
