I am not intended to use Photoshop CS3 for video edidting. But everytime i am trying to open an image, it is shown in custom pixel aspect ratio with factor 0.5. is their any option to disable automatic adjustement of pixel aspect ratio, or make the square aspect ratio the default to be used?

Hey Rami_Rouchdi,

I agree; that feature is particularly obnoxious. Not so much that it happens, but Photoshop gives absolutely no suggestion or implication how to even turn the feature off. Even more annoying is the fact that it's actually extremely easy to do so - simply click on View>Pixel Aspect Ratio Correction to toggle the feature.

Hope this helps. :)

thnx for you reply, but it is not practical for use with 600 files that i need to process. it would be an overhead for huge quantities. does anybody have other solutions?
