Avoid Rounded Edges in Stoke?

I'm having a problem stroking type. I know how to do it, but my problem is that it automatically rounds the edges of the text once you stroke more than a few pixels. Is there a way to square those off without having to paint them in by hand? Thanks

Can you choose the position of the stroke? Usually a position of inside yields straight edges, and outside yields rounded edges.
