hello everyone!
I had a question with selecting and grouping.
I know it's Shift+Click+ctrl G, but in photoshop I can't seem to do this and it's driving me crazy! I can do the group selecting in Illustrator but not in photoshop.
So my question is If I had two layers in photoshop How do I group them.
Shift+clicking doesn't work for me How do I fix this problem. Any info would help out so much!!!
Thank you
Mario

I think you choose all layers you want to group by shift or alt clicking on them and then enter Command or Control G depending on whether you are on a mac or pc.
Sorry, I realized after reading your question that you have already tried this so realize my response does not fix your problem.

Boy o boy :D Grouping in Illustrator and Photoshop are two different things.
The way i understood you you want to MERGE layers into one layer. Well technically that won't be grouping but on one layer you'll get contents from two layers you had before. Also GROUPING in Photoshop is to select few layers with Shift click on them or Command/Control click on random layers you want to select and then hit Command/Control + G. That action will put all selected layers in one folder which is a Group.
Vector vs. Pixel based graphics have it's own different things but advantages as well.

thank you for your help...
I want to group in photoshop because like you said, I will have the contents of my layer in a folde so I could individually edit some layers. My problem is I can't shift+click in photoshop to add anything in a group.
Thats my real problem, I don't know whats wrong but, I found ways to get around it by Merging and copying!
Thanks again
Mario
