Hello, I am trying to create a PDF file of images to send to someone. I am using jpegs of my PSD files as I suppose it is better to reduce the size of the image for a PDF file. I took one PSD file and saved it as a PDF file . When I opened the PDF file in Adobe Reader the image was washed out and the saturation was much lower. Is this because I am not using any third party color calibration equipment?

How do I get the PDF file to be closer to the original PSD or jpeg file? Thanks a lot for your help. I am kind of stuck.

OK, I have changed my monitor settings to Adobe 1998 the same color space that the files were created in. Also am now using Preview to see the PDF file and it is now matching the original PSD file. Still doesn't match in reader, but I guess reader doesn't view colors accurately or is corrupted or something.

I am not that familiar with creating PDFs. I want to put about 10 to 20 images in the PDF, but don't want the file to be too huge to send as an attachment. Does anyone have any guidance as to what would be the best settings to use. I would like to send the PDF out to retouch studios to get work. Thanks.
