I apologize if this issue has already been addressed in this forum as I can imagine it has. I tried a search for my request but it did not turn up anything. Anyway on to my question. I have a round logo that I am trying to put on a brochure. Every time I move the circle to the brochure there is a white square around the circle. I just want the circle and not the square, or I need the square to be transparent so the colors of the brochure are immediately behind the circle. Can anyone help me in this?

I am using PhotoShop 7.0

Thank you

Saving the image in PNG format will preserve the transparency, as will saving in GIF

your logo file should have a transpirant background, the one with the checker shape, then draw only your logo and keep other parts with the checkers visiable, then save your file for web and select png 24 format
hope this was clear
