View Full Version : Outlined text

What I want to do seems simple enough, but I can't figure out how. I want normal text, except white on the inside with a thick yellow outline. I tried a stroke, but it's rounded, and I want it blocky; the original font. I tried simply putting text over text as well, but things don't line up very well.
Can someone tell me how to do this?

I finally figured it out with my own messing around!

I know it can be done in Adobe Illustrator. There you can enter a type of corner for you strokes. I guess it's going to be hard to achieve this with Photoshop!

I liked to know how he did it myself.

Hi

When you appy the layer style (the stroke) set it to "inside" - the default is "outside" and that is what gives you the round corners.

Hope it works :)
