Hope somebody can help please.

I am building a site that now requires a photo gallery. As a non html person I have been using a plug-in called Sitegrinder to do all my convertion of photoshop designs.

Sitegrinder allows the gallery to be built and displays all the photographs and thumbnails but I want to have a text box below the main pictures that describes the photograph. Sitegrinder has a function that will show the metadata field by including it in a text layer as below

This photograph is of [[description]]

where the metadata field "Description" is entered between the square brackets but when I build the site the metadata does not appear although the ordinary text does. I have contacted Sitegrinder support who originally advised entering the metadata through Bridge but then went back on this and said use File Info in Photoshop.

I have tried both ways without success.

I have also tried building a Web Gallery through Photoshop but this does not display when I build the site. All I get is the outline of the gallery box and the thumbnails show a photograph file name only but no photograph.

Can anyone offer any advice as it is getting very frustrating.

Many thanks in advance

Aww I wish I could help but I'm trying to get involved on Web design as well, but can get nothing out of it. Anyways, hope you learn more later. Good Luck :) :O

Btw do you know how to make pictures shine, because I use avatars for my pictures, and I don't really know how to get their hair shine, neither their skin.

I've only heard of Sitegrinder but have never tried it out. Do you have an example of the files that are created when you try this gallery? It is my guess that Sitegrinder uses XML to import the photos and the captions and it could be a simple fix.

I'm no HTML pro, but I'd be willing to take a look at what you have and see what I can figure out.

Let me know,
