cleaning up edges

ok when i draw something and scan it in to photoshop i find my edges are a bit average, is thier an easier way to clean this up besides spending hours with the rubber tool or pencil tool cleaning it up, thanx

Try creating a Levels adjustment layer, and tweak the sliders to get the results you want.
