Hello!
I've got a problem with the workspace on my PS CS2 Mac-version. The toolbars and pallettes ar all there, but I can see right through the rest of it. I don't want that, because I find it interrupting too see other running problems en the background.
Any tips?

Best regards
O.B.

If you're talking about being able to see through the Photoshop interface to other open documents, programs, windows, etc. on your desktop, there are a couple of things you can do:

1. Hide the other applications so you don't see them or any open documents within them. Most software is hidable by pressing Command + H, except of course, apps in Creative Suite. If Command + H doesn't do the trick, just hop up under the application's main menu (InDesign > Hide InDesign) and choose it from there.

2. Enter Full-screen mode in Photoshop by pressing the F key. This puts the image you're working on in the center of a gray background, preventing you from seeing anything that might be open elsewhere. Press the F key again to toggle back into normal mode.

I use a combination of both. Full-screen mode can be a pain because it prevents you from moving the document around onscreen, plus you can't view two docs at the same time (I almost always have two windows of the same image open when I'm retouching: one zoomed in really closely, and another at about the size the image might print). I tend to keep all other apps running, though hidden. When I'm really distracted, I pop into full-screen mode.

I hope that helps!
