Question about CS

I have adobe CS running on a mac. I am also new to photoshop about 2 months new.

I have been trying to follow the tutorials on the site and i must say i am intimidated at the wealth of knowlege that is here makes me ask when i will get there but i will. My question is this, when i am photoshop cs, following the tutorials, they ask to select two layers in the layers pallete(not sure about the terminology) but i cannot. i cannot shift click to select several layers. is there a setting i need to change or something i need to do?

Hello onemic,

Problem is that Photoshop CS do not support that feature. You can select multiple
layers in Photoshop CS2 or Photoshop CS3. Only i can say to you is a worthwhile upgrade :D
