Hi,
When you have used the mouse to choose a tool in the list, once the task is over,I notice the cursor does not return to indicate the further choices you wish to make (the white arrowe). I have been using the last cursor from the last tool chosen .Is there a way of getting this back again?
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but it gets under my skin a bit.Of course it could be the normal way CS2 works .I find I am using one of the other two types of arrowe in the tool list.I am sure this is not the right way.
Regards,
Graham:rolleyes:

Hello,

I am not sure that i understand you well. You are choosing between Path Selection Tool and Direct Selection Tool? Is it that? Please clarify more.

Hi Nemisis.Yes,I find that using the selection tool (White Arrowe) I then choose a tool from the list ,say Clone Stamp, after I have used this tool I find that I have to use the * clone tool indicator as a selection tool ,as the white arrowe does not come back for me to make further choices from the tool menue.I find that I have to use the Black arrowe selection tool from the list for further choices. What I was hoping for was a way to click on some where to bring back the white normal selection arrowe.I hope this is more informative (I am quite new to this) Regards
Graham

Hello Graham,

When you choose Path Selection Tool your mouse cursor will turn in black arrow. Same goes when you choose Direct Selection Tool your mouse cursor will turn in white arrow. Not every tool from tool box will appear like is it in Tool box. For example Clone Stamp Tool it will turn into circle outline, because is brush.
And by the way when you have Path Selection Tool and you want to "call" Direct Selection Tool in fly just press COMMAND key (MAC) or CTRL key (PC), than do what you have to do and release the COMMAND, CTRL key and you'll be again on Path Selection Tool.
I hope that is what you wanted to know, if not, ask again.

See ya
