File Opening Basics

I have tried everything I know but am now about to give up.

Is there any way, when working in PS 6 or 7 (PC), that when I go to open a file, I'm presented with a "thumbnail" instead of "list" of files option? I'm about ready to give up working on PS on my PC and go back to working on my Mac.

I know that you can only list your files with Window 98. I also know that you can get miniatures of your files shown in Windows XP. For versions of Windows in between, I don't know because we don't have them in our office. I am guessing that your problem is your version of Window.
