Are you using the supplied neg carriers? Also you must tell Epson Scan what format negs are in the carrier, (6x6, 6x4.5), the process is not as straightforward with Silverfast. YMMV. To my chagrin discovered I can not scan 2 1/4 format - period. Also, the SilverFast bundled is 32 bit. I have Vista 64 bit on my new computer. I have to hold my breath until Silverfast comes out with a 64 bite. Still more, Epson tech support is offers worthless support. The rep I talked with did not seem to know the difference between 32 and 64 bit. If any one has an idea of how I can scan 2 1/4 on a V750 let me know.
