That’s right, I am off to the West Coast tomorrow for a two-city run on the Down & Dirty seminar tour. First stop is San Francisco. I couldn’t be more excited about this one. I love San Francisco. So many cool things to see out there. I am also planning on hooking up with a few friends while there. Should be an interesting time. The seminar is being held at the South San Francisco Convention Center on November 18. Click here for more info. Hope to see you there! After that the next stop is Seattle, WA. I am really looking forward to this one as I have never been before. This time we will be at the Washington State Convention Center on November 23. There’s still a few seats left for both seminars. If you have a multilayer composition and you
want to apply an effect to all the layers at once, don’t flatten the layers–use a composite layer instead. Hide the layers you want excluded, and press Shift-Command-Option-E (PC: Shift-Ctrl-Alt-E). A new layer will be created at the top containing a merged copy of all the visible layers.
Another option is to create a new layer at the top of the stack and make it active. Command-click (PC: Ctrl-click) each layer you want to include to make those layers active, as well. Press Option-Command-E (PC: Alt-Ctrl-E).
