Instead, during the grid creation, I changed the language definitions on the windows vista options, in the programs bar, usually at the bottom of the page, and, even without knowing exactly which key was, I tried to press the one next to "1" and it worked, then, after, I just changed it back, in the bottom icon, close to the date and time, back to Portuguese, and, it worked fine. For those still in XP, I believe it is exactly the same as I said here. And good spot on that locking the transparency. I didn't noticed, and just created the grid on Ai.
