Do you have an iPhone? If you do then you have a chance to make a name for yourself. Kelby Training is hosting a new photo contest for iPhone owners. That’s right, a photo contest with your iPhone. The contest begins on October 1 and closes on October 24. Then there will be a public voting from October 28-30. Winners will be announced on November 3rd. Sometimes our best creations happen by pure experimentation and accident. Sitting in front of a Photoshop file, you are 40 History States in, and then it happens—magic! You really want to be able to get back to that moment. To do so, make sure that you turn on the History Log checkbox in the General Preferences (Photoshop>Preferences>General [PC: Edit>Preferences>General]). You can save the information as metadata, as a separate text file, or both!

$500 and a book for getting loads and loads of images usable for marketing campaigns… as well as lots and lots of free “internet coverage”. Great bang for ones buck
