You can quickly scrub through the timeline by clicking-and-holding on the Current Time Indicator. You will notice the cursor turn into opposing arrows. Just click-and-drag either to the left or right to scrub through the timeline.
Okay, so it’s not a full tip per se, but after playing around with the pasteboard, you will decide that the gray was just fine (everyone does). If and when you do, the RGB settings are 192, 192, 192. Just click on your Foreground color swatch, enter these settings in the Color Picker, and then Shift-click on the pasteboard again.

You don’t need a calculator to determine how much resolution you need for printing to a particular line screen—Photoshop will do all the math for you, right inside the Image Size dialog. Here’s how: Open the image you want to print. Go under the Image menu and choose Image Size. When the dialog appears, click on the Auto button (it’s right under the Cancel button). When the Auto Resolution dialog appears, all you have to do is type in the line screen of the device you’re printing to and then choose a quality setting. Continue Reading »

You can open RAW images in Camera Raw right from Bridge in Photoshop CS3. This frees up Photoshop to continue working on your files while they’re being processed in Camera Raw. Just select one or more images in Bridge, Control-click (PC: Right-click) on them, and choose Open in Camera Raw. This will open the image(s) in Bridge’s Camera Raw rather than Photoshop. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Command-R (PC: Ctrl-R).
