If you haven’t visited the Adobe website in the past week or two then head over there now. They have completely redesigned the site with a bold new look featuring the new Flash On technology, which promises to be the future of online digital media. It may finally bridge the gap between TV and the Web. But much more than that, the new site is much more visually appealing and much easier to navigate. Check it out. Also, if you are still on the fence about upgrading to Mac OSX Leopard, there is an updated link to a detailed PDF file covering all the compatibility issues across the entire Creative Suite.

This week Corey has a cool new trick for using 3D reflections in a rather creative way!
If you have a multilayer composition and you
want to apply an effect to all the layers at once, don’t flatten the layers–use a composite layer instead. Hide the layers you want excluded, and press Shift-Command-Option-E (PC: Shift-Ctrl-Alt-E). A new layer will be created at the top containing a merged copy of all the visible layers.
Another option is to create a new layer at the top of the stack and make it active. Command-click (PC: Ctrl-click) each layer you want to include to make those layers active, as well. Press Option-Command-E (PC: Alt-Ctrl-E).
